Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Tiffany. I am a new nurse currently working on a Cardiovascular Heart Lung and Transplant unit at a local hospital. I am also an Aesthetic and Cosmetic nurse working at a Medical Spa.
I have always had the desire to help people. Through work, I developed a great deal of patience when dealing with people. I acquired the ability to assess the needs of others, express empathy, and have compassion. Moreover, I am an advocate for these individuals. With each experience, I have been able to be a servant to others.
My background includes, being a Certified Nursing Assistant, Disability Claims Specialist, FMLA (Leave of Absence) Coordinator, and a Service Representative. However, after years of gaining invaluable work experience, the thought of pursuing a nursing career has never left me. It was through these experiences that I was able to dig deep and gain the confidence to become a nurse.
With my nursing career, I hope to achieve three things. First, gain an in-depth understanding of the nursing as it relates in a clinical setting. Secondly, to develop more profoundly personally and professionally to continuously be prepared for direct patient care. Thirdly, to acquire the knowledge, skill-sets, and networks to be successful within the healthcare field.
My long-term goal is to continue my education for Nurse Practitioner. I strongly believe that my background, educational training, and career pursuits will allow me to impact the communities where I plan to live and work daily. I created this blog not only to share my personal journey but also to inspire others. This blog will provide insight into the life of a new nurse . I welcome you to follow along!
